March 13, Fri: The Regional Talent Extravaganza
Hosted by the Coeur d'Alene Symphony, featuring winners from the Young Artist's Competition
March 22, Sun: The Annual Opera Gala
  An evening filled with great food, wine, and music!  Proceeds from this event support Opera CdA and its educational outreach programs.  Silent auction items include artwork by regional artists and the jewelry worn by Violetta in last year's production of Verdi's La Traviata.
- Held at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, 5:00pm.

March 28, Sat: Opera Studies: The Lighter Side of Opera
  Fred Glienna conducts this educational seminar for opera lovers and novices.
- Held in Todd Lecture Hall (at the North Idaho College Library) from 9:30-12:30.
- Course fee is $25/person and includes course materials and an informative CD!
April, on-going: Opera-tunities
  Opera CdA's educational outreach production travels to schools throughout North Idaho, taking opera into the third grade classrooms!  This year, "Opera-tunies" will focus on Districts 271 and 273.
May 16, Sat: Opera Close Up - our NEW second "production"
May 17, Sun: Opera CdA expands our season offering to include a second production!  An intimate production, Opera Close Up brings you opera in its purest form.  No orchestra, no large sets, no outrageous costumes - just you, a talented cast of singers, and some of the most beautiful music ever written, performed close enough for you to see the spit flying!  Stars from our upcoming production of Rossini's Cenerentola (Cinderella) will perform Menotti's The Telephone and scenes from La Boheme, Don Giovanni, and other famous operas.
- Held at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls, Saturday at 7:30pm / Sunday at 2:30pm
- Tickets are $35/person.  Limited seating; PRE-PAID RESERVATIONS ONLY.  For reservations, call (208)676-8313

July 19, Sun: The Opera Cruise on the Lake
  Our most popular event, this sunset cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene delivers the best of Coeur d'Alene's scenery and music.  Singers and musicians provide live entertainment on-board.  You never know what will happen on this relaxing voyage!
- The boat boards at 6:00pm at the 3rd Street dock and sets sail at 6:30pm.
- Reserved table seating, $45 / General seating, $35.
August 1, Sat: Art on the Green
  Opera Coeur d'Alene presents emerging artists in concert at 12:00pm (noon) on the North Stage.
September 11, Fri: Opera in the Plaza
  A FREE concert featuring the lead singers and pieces from our upcoming production, presented in conjunction with the city-wide ArtWalk.
- Held at the Resort Plaza Shops Courtyard at 6:00pm.
September 13, Sun: A Night at the Opera: The Newman Event
A special preview of arias and ensembles from our upcoming production of La Cenerentola (Cinderella).  Wines and an Italian buffet are served.
- 4:00pm, hosted at the home of Mary and Bert Newman.
- Reservations are limited to the first 40 people and can be made by payment of $65 to Bert Newman.
- All proceeds benefit Opera CdA and our fall production.
September 17, Sat: Opera Without Ties
An exclusive MEMBERS ONLY event that takes you behind the scenes of our upcoming production!  Join our lead singers for an informal dinner, then stay and watch these amazing singers in rehearsal.
- Location to be determined.
- Tickets are $20/person.  Limited seating.
September 19, Sat: Opera Studies: Rossini's La Cenerentola (Cinderella)

September 25, Fri: Rossini's La Cenerentola (Cinderella) - our major production
September 27, Sun:  A fully-staged, professional production with orchestra; presented in English with supertitles.
- Held at the the Schuler Performing Arts Center (North Idaho College, Boswell Hall)
- Friday at 7:30pm / Sunday at 2:00pm
- Tickets are $29 and $35.  Student tickets are $18.
- Tickets are available to OCdA Members from July 6-30 through the Membership Committee.
- Tickets are available to the general public starting July 31.

- There will be one 15 minute intermission.
October 9, Fri: Opera in the Plaza
  A FREE concert, presented in conjunction with the city-wide "Art from the Heart," a celebration of the visual and performing arts in Coeur d'Alene.
- Held at the Resort Plaza Shops Courtyard at 6:00pm.
December 9, Wed: The Annual Meeting
  A MEMBERS ONLY event: help assemble your Opera Coeur d'Alene board and hear the latest news about OCdA's present condition and future plans.  A free concert with snacks and wine closes this information-packed meeting!
- Held at the Spokesman Review Building in Coeur d'Alene at 5:00pm.
